Help yourself, any hour of the day. Or come and find us — we are always glad to make it for you.
The fire & firewood
Cold outside? The lounge stays warm, and the fire is usually lit.
If it isn't, we will light it for you. There is wood by the hearth, and more on the timber cart at the entrance.
Truth be told, we are always looking for an excuse.
Hot tub
The stars are wonderful.
The neighbours, eventually, go to bed.
Wi-Fi
A gentler password than 12345678. And if you spend a little less time online while you are here — mission accomplished.
A book in every corner
Books are tucked all through the lodge — beside a favourite chair, on a shelf, wherever a corner felt like it wanted one.
Some inspire. Some surprise. A few reflect questionable taste. Pick one up, find a comfortable corner, and stay a while.
Wander & wonder
Explore freely. Find a quiet chair. Read. Watch the birds. Pour another coffee.
Doing absolutely nothing is a perfectly good use of your day here.
